Tierney Anderson

Tierney Anderson provides strategic communications counsel to public and private companies with a focus on high-stakes special situations including crisis and litigation, as well as long-term corporate reputation and positioning matters.

Tierney’s representative experience includes advising Google on corporate communications and public affairs matters; Comcast on its spinoff of select cable television networks; a California-based health insurance plan on leadership transitions and contract disputes with providers; a top-ranking university in its defense against antitrust violations; and a leading global cybersecurity company on issues management and crisis response.

Prior to joining H/Advisors Abernathy, Tierney was a founding team member of August, a strategic communications advisory firm, where she served as Associate and Assistant Chief of Staff. Previously, she was an Associate at Sard Verbinnen & Co (now FGS Global).

Tierney graduated with a Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Public Relations from Pepperdine University.
