Dana Gorman
Dana Gorman is Managing Director and Head of Private Capital at H/Advisors. He counsels GPs and many of their portfolio companies on corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience, Dana is recognized for helping firms and their portfolio companies navigate complex and high-stakes situations, including:

Dana works with GPs that invest across private equity, infrastructure, private credit, real estate and secondaries to design and implement sophisticated and targeted communications plans related to both longer-term business and reputation goals aimed at influential audiences, as well as acute, high-consequence events. The H/Advisors Private Capital team was named U.S. PR & Communications Firm of the Year by Private Equity Wire in 2024 and 2025.
His current and recent GP clients include Ardian, Five Elms Capital, GCM Grosvenor, Lotus Infrastructure Partners, Madison Dearborn Partners, New Mountain Capital, PPC, Ridgeview Partners, Siris and Starwood Capital Partners, and he has also worked closely with many of those firms’ portfolio companies on critical matters.
Dana also advises executives teams and Boards of Directors of public companies across industries on corporate reputation management, event-driven situations and strategic profile-raising initiatives. His experience spans M&A, shareholder activism defense, crisis management and response and restructuring and bankruptcy, with recent clients including Briggs & Stratton, Covestro, Dynex Capital, Evercore, SEACOR Marine, Skillsoft, Snap One and WisdomTree.
Dana started at H/Advisors in 2006, having graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish.
